Hi David,

I distinctly remember having a similar intellectual conversation during a college calculus class session. After 1 hour, I settled my question about whether there is a God. I know I made a set of similar logic notes. I’m cleaning out old school files and wondering if I’ll find them. As an engineer, I can’t help but wonder how things work.

I hope you find your files. It is always interesting to find 'reasoning' from when you were younger. Part of my logic ladder for this particular subject, has led me to focus on the [soul] rather than the question of God's existence. I am continuing thinking on the subject while crafting the next part of the essay.

Concepts such as: is the [soul] an Absolute, dependent on God? In other words if God does exist does that mean Humans have to have a [soul] and is the [soul] uniform for all humans or can its 'condition' be dependent on a persons beliefs? I imagine this is covered in a lot of philosophy 101. Not having a formal education it is fascinating to spend the time working these questions out.

Thanks for the reply. I means a great deal to me and I look forward to hearing what you think these ideas as I expand upon them further.

Peace!
